My Way- Frank Sinatra Past Simple, Present Perfect, and Present Simple

My  Way - Frank Sinatra

And now, the end is here
nAnd so I face the final curtai
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I                  1           (to be: present) certain

 I             2                (to live: past) a life that's full

I               3           (to travel: past) each and every highway

And more, much more than this, I              4              (to do: past) it my way

Regrets,                5              (to have: past) a few

But then again, too few to mention
I              6              (to do: past) what I had to do and                  6           (to see: past) it
through without exemption
I                 7                (to plan: past) each charted course, each careful step along the byway

And more, much more than this, I did it my way

Yes, there               8                 (to be: past) times, I'm sure you knew

When I                  9                  (to bite:past) off more than I could chew

But through it all, when there was doubt

I                    10                   (to eat: past) it up and spit it out

I faced it all and I                   11               (to stand: past) tall and did it my way

12                (to love: past), I've laughed and cried

I've had my fill, my share of losing

And now, as tears subside,                  13                (to find: present) it all so amusing

To think I did all that

And may I say, not in a shy way,

"Oh, no, oh, no, not me, I did it my way"

For what is a man, what has he got?

If not himself, then he                  14                 (to have: present) naught

To say the things he truly                  15               (to feel: present) and not the words of one
who kneels

The record                   16          (to show: present) I took the blows and did it my way!
